Hey man thanks for being a part of Yeah Nah Yeah #8, we’re stoked to have you on. How has the start of the year been for you?

Hello everybody, excited to be on the bill! The start of 2018 has been good for me, music wise. Have had the privilege of Djing out and about at a few places. The definite highlight for this year though has been throwing a  little kick on party after Summer Dance this year with some friends. We did it in Marrickville and got Project Pablo from Canada to play which was a little surreal.

I saw you launched your label ‘Black Wattle Records’ late last year at cake wines. How did that go and tell us a bit about what you’re looking to achieve with the label.

Yes that launch party was good fun! The label has been going well, the first release from Thomas Gray has sold out, with the remaining copies making it over to Europe which is exciting. The second release from Liam Ebbs is dropping at the end of this month so keep your eyes peeled for that. Future releases are also in the works at the moment but I just need to get some more money to keep funding them haha.  I’m hoping to keep it going for as long as I can, predominantly showcasing local Australian artists.

So we’re all prepared what can we expect from you at the party?

I guess I normally play a mix of house, deep house and disco, but I’ve been listening to a lot of dance music lately with more techy elements so if there’s a chance to play some of that I will too. Hopefully it will be music that will make you want to dance. This playlist of tracks is a collection of records I’ve bought lately, and some ones I would like to buy soon.
