I bought my first camera, a Canon AE1, and started shooting in early 2012. One of my best mates was already shooting film. From the moment I saw his shots I was completely in love with the warmth and realness the photos possessed, and that’s what led me to purchase my AE1.

I focus on realistic light more so than a crisp shot. Light is everything for me. The texture given by the grain in film is it’s magic; the warmth of light disperses with indoor shooting, golden hour is the same, and when shooting in colder climates the shots replicate the air’s sharpness. These photos are accurate representations of what I’m passionate about in photography, if you even get half the excitement I do from them, they’ve done their job.
